To celebrate her upcoming nuptials to the studlyat least in her opinionVirgil, sixty-six-year-old Mary Alice (Sister) has invited
sibling Patricia Anne (Mouse) and hubby to accompany she and Virgil to an Elvis impersonation concert. A good time is a sure thing!

Wherever the Southern sisters go theres always fun but usually murder follows close at hand and the Elvis concert is no exception. At the end of the concert, one of the Elvi stumbles and falls head first into the orchestra pit. An investigation reveals that this Elvis was helped to his demise.

The irrepressible Mary Alicewith a reluctant Patricia Anne in towlaunches her own investigation. In spite of family troubles and Patricia Annes arrest, the sisters persevere and find the surprising solution to the mystery of the murdered Elvis.

The lively Southern sisters have delighted mystery lovers for a number of years, but sadly, with Anne Georges death, MURDER BOOGIES WITH ELVIS brings this series to a close. Fans will love this entry that serves up
a delightful mystery and ties up several loose ends. (Aug., 256 pp., $23.00)
