MURDER OF A CREPED SUZETTE
by Denise Swanson

Genre: Mystery/Suspense/Thriller, Mystery, Amateur Sleuth

RT Rating

A Swanson novel is always going to have tongue-in-cheek humor, complex motives and unique murders. The latest cleverly crafted tale is another entertaining mystery.

With the community in an uproar over plans to build a country music theater in town, news that a steamroller has pancaked country singer Suzette Neal puts building plans on the back burner. Of course, Skye would be the one to discover the woman’s body, but she had just been hired to find out who had killed Su-zette’s mother some two decades earlier. Who flattened Suzette? Involved in more than just this investigation, Skye and her fiancé Wally are trying to get his drug-addict ex-wife to write a letter that will help his annulment get finalized so the pair can finally make it to the altar.
