Third in the series involving Patience Price and her circle of friends, Murder in Real Time is another fine mystery. The characters are delightful, especially Patience’s parents. The hero and the ex-boyfriend are quite delicious. Plenty of action and suspense, but nothing too dark or gruesome. An enjoyable read.

Patience Price is once again up to her ears in murder and mayhem. When a popular reality show host and his lover are murdered on the island, Patience, best friend Claire and ex-boyfriend Adrian find themselves investigating the crime. This does not please her current boyfriend, FBI agent Sebastian Clark, who is also investigating the murders. After all, the bodies were found in the room he rents by the month. As two more murder attempts are made, the question arises, “Who is the target?” Were the original victims the ones meant to die, or could it have been someone else — like Sebastian?
