In all her planning for the Christmas holiday, single mother Grace Penrose lost her spirit for the season. Wrapped up in organizing the Cooper's Corner Christmas Festival, she is utterly bogged down when she meets Tucker McCabe.

Tuck has come to town for a single reason: to pick up the horses he's purchased. Grace promises him a "home for the holidays" for the next couple of weeks if he'll put off his trip back to Montana and allow his horses to be used for the sleigh rides she has planned.

A loner, Tuck's been trying to avoid the holidays until Grace and her children work their way into his heart. He discovers he needs them as much as they need him.

In this special installment of Coopers Corner, Kate Hoffman has penned a story for the season that will warm your heart in MY CHRISTMAS COWBOY. (Nov., 256 pp., $4.75)
