This blending of modern characters with well-known fairy tales is a charming YA treat, quite funny with plenty of laugh-out-loud lines and moments. Despite what feels like an occasional cramming in of moral lessons, its uniqueness and ability to surprise are a wonderful touch.

When spoiled Savannah loses her boyfriend to her nerdy older sister, she's granted three wishes by a subpar fairy godmother -- and all three wishes wind up going horribly awry. Twice she's sent back to the Middle Ages, once as Cinderella and once as Snow White, all in her pursuit of her Prince Charming. But when the fairy tales intertwine and Savannah's wishes take on even more unexpected twists, she'll have to rely on her own smarts to get back to the 21st century.
