One thing is certain, Delilah Devlin weaves a masterfully written story of vampires, seduction, murder and mystery.

Darcy Henry's is part of a special police unit that is tracks and kills vampires. But, something about vampire Quentin Albermarle is different. He is, quite simply, the sexiest thing she's ever seen. She is mortified by her powerful attraction to the handsome vamp, but that is not enough to keep her out of his arms. Her partner's outrage at her taking a vampire to her bed leads to his confession of his own desire for Darcy. Quentin is the only one who can help find the serial killer they are presently tracking, so for now, they find themselves in each other's company.

Will Darcy choose to become a vampire herself, the very thing she has hunted and killed? (May, 384 pp., dl $5.20)
