One of the finest adventure/romance authors does it again. Foley sweeps readers back into the lives of the members of the Inferno Club: men who appear to be hedonists while protecting king and country. Foley never sacrifices character or romance while whisking readers away on fast-paced escapades and daring missions and giving them a glorious deep-sigh read.

As a young man Jordan, Earl of Falconridge, eagerly joined the Inferno Club, never realizing that his vow to protect his country would mean losing the woman he loved. Years later he gets a second chance. Mara, Lady Pierson, would have married Jordan, until he turned his back on her. Now a widow, she vows never to wed, but then he re-enters her life and pursues her until she can no longer deny her desires. Their youthful passion turns to mature love. But as they bask in their happiness Jordan realizes his mission for the Inferno Club stands between them once more. When Mara innocently gets involved, their lives are threatened.
