Tess Anderson is a top talent manager in Los Angeles. She loves her life, yet often feels isolated. Then her only sister, Chloe, calls from Cedar Dell, Texas, with news that she is about to have her missing-in-action boyfriend Snake's baby.

Retired lawyer Nick Sutherland renovates and restores old buildings. He also represents the Cedar Dell seniors whenever they need him. Snake's mother asks Nick to evict Chloe from Snake's dilapidated trailer. But someone reaches the trailer before Nick can convince Chloe to leave, and the destruction they leave makes eviction unnecessary. What are these maniacs hunting — and where is Snake? Tess and Nick must find these answers, and decide what to do about their growing feelings, before time runs out!

Take a wonderful romance, add some intriguing mystery and a tad of dangerous suspense, sprinkle it liberally with humor and you have My Long Tall Texas Heartthrob. Visit Cedar Dell once again and reminisce with familiar faces from My Long Tall Texas Heartache. This is a thoroughly enjoyable story. You'll want to return to Cedar Dell soon.
