MY TRUE COWBOY
MY TRUE COWBOY (4) by Shelley Galloway: Cal Riddell has his hands full with a busy ranch, a rambunctious baby sister and a fractious father recovering from heart surgery. Already a man with a wounded heart, Cal feels he’s losing control of his life, especially as he is drawn to Susan Young and her young, ailing son. Single mom Susan has moved west to find an easier way of life and spend more time with her son. With a rocky start thanks to the high jinks of two spirited children and an interfering old man, Cal and Susan feel their way through a relationship. The tale has a nice cadence, smart dialogue and realistic characters.
