When three of her agency's nannies are fired by wealthy financier Michael Taylor -- aka "the Beast" -- in a month, Sophia Stanton is prepared to do anything to protect her business's reputation. Even become a live-in caregiver for the difficult man's baby daughter! Eventually, Michael warms to Sophia --against the odds, given his history -- but Sophia's also been badly hurt by love, and refuses to get involved romantically with a client. Donna Clayton's Nanny and the Beast (4) has a familiar plot, and the characters' motivations are equally well used. But they're a good fit, and the author's voice is persuasive.
