A NANNY UNDER THE MISTLETOE (3) by Teresa Southwick: Still struggling with the death of her best friend, Charity, teacher Libby Bradford can't face losing Charity's 5-year-old daughter, Morgan too. But it will happen, if Libby can't persuade Morgan's official guardian, wealthy businessman Jess Donnelly, to hire her as Morgan's nanny. Jess is reluctant but agrees to let Libby stay until Morgan adjusts. Acting on their attraction is a terrible idea for several reasons, but it's their lack of trust in each other that could be the deal breaker. The characters are sympathetic, and there's plenty of sparks in their scenes together, but there's no real emotional connection between them.
