Image of Naomi's Gift: An Amish Christmas Story

While this is a fine read, there is little out of the ordinary about it. The characters are well developed, but the storyline is a bit slow, which makes it difficult to stay engaged.

Still mourning his wife after a tragic accident, Caleb Schmucker and his daughter, Susie, return to Pennsylvania for a family reunion. Two women, Naomi and Irene, are both interested in Caleb. Susie prays for a Christmas miracle: that her father could be happy once again. Can Caleb find happiness with Naomi or Irene? (ZONDERVAN, Oct., 182 pp., $14.99)
