The Narrow Path takes a realistic look at Mennonite old-order traditions and the simple life they lead apart from the rest of the world. The relationship between Ted and Miranda is sweet and funny, and the plot's pacing flows smoothly from beginning to end.

Miranda Klassen loves her large, contemporary Mennonite church in Seattle, but decides to move across country to assist a small-town church with its 25th-anniversary celebration.

Ted Wiebe is supposed to work with her, but he's shocked when she steps off the plane wearing trendy clothes and talking on a cell phone. She is the exact opposite of the women in his old-order community. They must find common ground to reach their goals for the church. Will they also find love in the process?
