This is a wonderful collection of romances with a NASCAR background and a passing reference to the Christmas season. A great read!

Tiffany McMillan changes from snob to nice, except to engineer Jesse Harwood. In "Have a Beachy Little Christmas," by Allison and Etherington, a Bahamas vacation may help them fulfill some secret mutual fantasies. Myles Joseph and Lisa St. Claire were sweethearts, but Myles left her for a NASCAR career. Now he hopes to explain to the woman he still loves why he really left in Jackson's "Winning the Race."

"All They Want for Christmas," by Carroll, has NASCAR driver Trace Collier and his daughter ending up in Carrie Ferrell's campground, where Santa may be giving Carrie and her son a Christmas gift they didn't know they wanted -- a family. Cassie Wheeler and Gib Cameron were an item until she moved away. Now he's the crew chief of a champion NASCAR team and she's a widowed schoolteacher with four children. He falls more in love with her than ever in "A Family for Christmas," by Brashear. (HQN, Nov., 384 pp., $6.99)
