Book Review

This highly anticipated sequel to View Park is another Chase family story. Janet and Steven Chase have money but not the class to go along with it, and that's what makes this a compelling novel. All the elements for an explosive conclusion to this trilogy are here. Fans of Winters will not be disappointed.

Janet is determined to force Michael's wife, Kimberly, out of her son's life. Kimberly is equally focused on digging up the dirt in Janet's past. They continue to be at each other's throats, and Michael is caught in
the middle.

Daughter Haley, meanwhile, is
back from her European exile, and
her self-destructive behavior continues, unabated. She's involved with a man who could literally be the death of her. In the midst of all this, son Carter is learning that his lies are catching up
to him, and his relationship with Avery
is hanging in the balance. (Dafina, Jul., 329 pp., $14.00)
