Responsibility just isn't waitress Tess Applegate's thing. The daughter of a workaholic, she's determined to keep things loose. Then her eccentric pal Harry gives her a large sum of money, and she has to deal with it somehow—and with Harry's hunky great-nephew, Evan McKenna. Evan's going crazy on a forced vacation from the family store, so he welcomes the chance to get to know Tess. It's good for both of them, until things turn serious. Pure fantasy in the finest sense, Heather MacAllister's Never Say Never (4) crackles with sexy banter. The plot meanders a bit in the middle, but the ending is worth waiting for.
