Never Say Never (3) by Yahrah St. John has a believable plot, wonderfully rendered settings and great secondary characters. But the inconsistent actions of the hero and heroine may keep you from caring about them. Recent divorcee Sabrina Parker claims to have no feelings for her philandering ex-husband, yet his girlfriend makes her act like a jealous ex-wife. Malcolm Winters is hiding from his career as a celebrated cardiac surgeon by becoming a family practitioner in a small town. The two meet in Sabrina's hometown, where she relocates with her 9-year-old daughter, moving back in with the parents she's virtually ignored for most of her marriage. Strained family relationships plague the two of them as they try to overcome their desire to not be involved in a relationship.
