In Nevermore (4), an installment of Maureen Child's absorbing Guardian series, Erin Murphy is on the run from someone trying to kill her. Her psychic abilities barely keep her ahead of her assailant when a knife in an antique shop leads her to a man she knows will be her salvation. Ricardo Santos is a Guardian and a loner. When Erin hurtles into his life, triggering emotions he's never experienced, he knows he must protect her
and take her for his own. As they fight
the demons chasing her and unravel the secret of her abilities, they grow closer and aware of their destiny. Child excellently unravels the mystery behind Erin's assailant without slowing the momentum of the love story. This is one of the best books in this series. It's very easy to fall
in love with this heroic and sexy couple.
