Harper's latest is just as hilariously fun as the rest of the books in the series. Jane Jameson is like the best friend you wish you had, but are content to read about. She's finally getting the hang of the whole vampire life, but that doesn't mean she won't land in many twisted scenarios. Harper gives great depth to her characters, showing that Jane can continue to grow and still be part of a lovable series.

NOTE: This is the third title in Harper's "Nice Girls..." Series.

Jane would love a nice, normal relationship, but it's kind of hard when your boyfriend/sire is keeping secrets and seems intent on pushing you away. Mixed in with her moping, she has a new store to open, Mr. Wainwright's crazy nephew to keep contained, a best friend who's having a baby and a batch of blonde, perky women to please. It's another crazy ride for Jane. Now if only those annoying pranks and life-threatening moments would stop! (POCKET STAR, Jan., 336 pp., $7.99)
