Building a successful design firm is Mia Maldonado's focus—mostly because her family expects failure. Money is tight, so Mia takes her assistant's place in a sleep study to avoid returning the already spent stipend she was paid. But when Mia's paired with Nick Cafferty, a P.I. who's actually shadowing her assistant, the study turns out to be more interesting than she expected. However, resisting each other is imperative—and impossible. Even learning the truth about each other doesn't solve their problems, but it's a start. Kristin Gabriel's Night After Night... (3) isn't her best work, but it amuses with its collection of concealed identities and snappy dialogue.
