NIGHT GAME
by Christine Feehan

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy

RT Rating

Of all the horrific experiments on both children and adults that scientist Peter Whitney conducted, the ones on Flame Johnson were among the worst. While genetically enhancing both her psychic and physical abilities, he also continually infected Flame with cancer. Flame eventually escaped and has been on the run for years, with the threat of re-occurring cancer always hanging over her head.

Because of this, Lily Whitney-Miller and the rest of the Ghostwalkers realize they must find Flame soon. Lily is positive that Flame will be in the bayou region and sends sexy Gator Fontenot after her. Flame's powers are formidable and she is angry at Lily and the world. Finding her won't be the problem--getting her to listen will be. Cornering an angry Flame gets Gator's juices flowing, but what he doesn't expect is to begin to believe the complex conspiracy tale she tells. If Flame is right, then they are all in great danger.

The plot thickens considerably in the latest chapter of Feehan's gripping Ghostwalker series. In Night Game, this outstandingly talented author keeps the adrenaline pumping and the action intense, all while building the foundation for a stirring love story. Awesome! (Nov., 496 pp., $9.99)
