Romantic suspense just doesn't come any better than NIGHT OF THE HAWK (4.5G) by Victoria Leigh. An old lady's innocent phone call to a radio program sends her mysterious neighbor, an undercover DEA agent, on the run again from the murderous intentions of a traitorous boss and a vicious drug kingpin. The stakes are elevated, however, when he mistakes a beautiful meeting planner for an assassin and takes her hostage. Among the many, many wonderful things about this spine-tingling thriller is an exceptional heroine and sharp, witty dialogue of the highest calibre.
