NIGHT PREY (3) by Sharon Dunn: Being director of the Birds of Prey Rescue Center brings Jenna Murphy into contact with a man from her childhood and grandson of the King ranch owners, Keith Roland. Jenna is at the King ranch searching for an injured hawk when she and Keith are shot at. A break-in at the rescue center and at Jenna’s home, and a warning to her to stay off the ranch have Jenna turning to Keith for help. Can she trust a man who has the same problems her father had, which ended up destroying their relationship? This book provides an interesting look at the problems and rewards of raptor rescue, however there are a few inconsistencies in the story that are distracting.
