If you have become an avid fan of Laurell K. Hamilton through her Anita Blake, Vampire Slayer series, rejoice in the July reprint of an early fantasy work called NIGHTSEER (4) that takes up the tale of a master enchanter (as well as master dreamer) who is thrust back into journeyman status when she discovers an unexpected talent for sorcery. Can she learn to control this extraordinary third talent? Balancing on the fine line between good and evil, she stands in the whirlwind as the evil witch who murdered her mother attempts to seize power. Of course, the plot is a great deal more complicated than thata specialty of Ms. Hamiltons, which, along with wit and intelligence, guarantees superior reading for discerning fans.
