Fans of this mesmerizing series will be thrilled to learn that spunky, unconventional Jaime Vegas finally gets her due. Told mostly in first person, this complicated and edgy tale brings back a number of familiar characters to help spice up the action. Armstrong's Otherworld series is in a class by itself!

Celebrity medium and necromancer Jaime has agreed to be part of a TV special with two other mediums to raise the spirit of Marilyn Monroe. She is also hoping for romantic time with alpha werewolf Jeremy, who is flying out to be with her. But their burgeoning relationship must take a backseat when Jaime discovers something extremely disturbing during the shoot. She believes that the trapped ghosts of young children who may have been murdered are touching her. But who killed them, and for what purpose?

For Jaime the bigger issue is, how can she free them? With the ghostly help of former dark witch Eve and her sorcerer lover Kristof, Jaime and Jeremy try to unravel the secrets of this dark and baffling case. Even the fates are concerned because the evil magic is not emanating from the supernatural community but rather the human one, which technically should be impossible.
