NO ORDINARY SHERIFF
NO ORDINARY SHERIFF (3) by Mary Sullivan: After her brother ODs on meth, DEA agent Shannon Wilson takes her vacation in Ordinary, Mont., to find out who sold her brother the drugs. While there she meets sheriff Cash Kavenagh, who’s just as determined to help her solve the case as he is to pursue his attraction to her. For her part, Shannon can’t help but be attracted to the sheriff, who spends his free time helping out a “younger brother” by taking him to the movies and making sure he eats regularly. Sullivan’s writing is quite good, and her depiction of a meth operation seems quite realistic, as does her description of the bikers that sell the meth. However, the rendering of the mastermind of the whole plot seems a bit farfetched.
