Dottie Hart is driving to California, where her brother runs a mission called No Place Like Home (4). She sees a young girl hitchhiking and offers her a ride. Cassie Yates is headed to Mule Hollow, a small town that's been advertising for women to come and marry the local men. It sounds ridiculous, but Dottie's curious. There, she meets Sheriff Brady Cannon, and he becomes a burr in her saddle as they discover that opposites do attract. Debra Clopton pens a warm, affectionate story about Mule Hollow. More than just the characters in this story will continue to call this place home -- Clopton's readers will find themselves doing the same.
