McCormick produces another raucous, dark and sensual entry in her No Limits series. Focused on one fugitive from Illustra and her unwitting but willing companion, No Rules is an adventure that challenges the imagination.

Alison Cartwright is hiding from an assassin sent by her former employers at Illustra. She’s trying to stay under the radar, but needs to earn enough to stay one step ahead. When she crosses paths with Del Fenton, their connection is immediate and they end up sharing accommodations on a luxury space liner. Del has the capacity to literally duplicate himself during times of extreme excitement. This makes for an interesting threesome once Alison wraps her head around the ability. Meanwhile, the psychopath on her trail is growing closer, and Del has his own secret — his baby niece is traveling in stasis. The lovers soon find themselves on a planet run by women, with men as “breeders,” being systematically attacked by creatures which view them as food. (APHRODISIA, Sep., 262 pp., $14.00)
