NORTHERN EXPOSURE (4) by Jennifer LaBrecque: Atlanta doctor and city girl Skye Shanahan visits remote Good Riddance, Alaska, for a two-week stint as the town’s general practitioner in this quirky romantic comedy. While there, Skye meets pilot Dalton Saunders, a no-nonsense, rugged sky cowboy who calls the wilderness home. Skye and Dalton bicker at first, but neither can deny their mutual attraction. This is a funny, heartfelt story that heats up in all the right places. If you like broad-shouldered, dark-haired, unshaven men in flannel (and who doesn’t?), you’ll want to pick this one up.
