This book is a good start to the Compass Brothers series. The story is strong and compelling, the characters are well rounded and the m/m/f love scenes are varied and hot. The pace of the story is a little slow, but this does not detract unduly from the overall enjoyment.
Silas Compton has always desired Lucy Silver. Yet he also craves her boyfriend, his best friend, Colby. The night he made the moves on Colby, Lucy caught them and ran away in disgust. Silas did his best to put things right by moving to Alaska. Now, 10 years later, Silas returns home injured and afraid of his welcome. In the intervening years, Lucy and Colby have married, but they both have unresolved feelings for Silas. Can the two make Silas believe that they have enough love in their hearts, and room in their bed, for him, or will his stubbornness keep them apart? (SAMHAINPUBLISHING.COM, dl $4.50)
