NOT A MARRYING MAN
NOT A MARRYING MAN (2) by Miranda Lee: Amber Roberts has no idea what she’s getting into the night she agrees to share businessman Warwick Kincaid’s bed. In no time, Amber breaks up with an almost-fiancé, becomes Warwick’s mistress and estranges herself from her family. She falls for Warwick, not knowing he has a deadly secret that won’t allow him to ever marry and raise a family, no matter how hard he falls for Amber in return. A less-than-satisfactory diary info-dump prologue slows the reader’s entry into the story, and it is very difficult to be sympathetic to a heroine who deliberately plots to become pregnant without the hero’s knowledge or consent.
