Snappy dialogue and fast-paced action result in a comically compelling tale.
Her budding romance is hot and sassy. However, the novel lacks a strong
setting. Although the mystery revolves around an actress and is set in Los Angeles, there isn't a strong flavor of
L.A. life in the writing.
When one of her patients contacts her moments after shooting someone, therapist Christina McMullen proves that she can stay cool under pressure. She needs every bit of that skill to save her best friend, an actress, from a stalker and a friend's sister from an abusive husband.
