NOT QUITE A MOM
by Kirsten Sawyer

Genre: Mainstream, Chick lit

RT Rating

In this sequel to Not Quite a Bride, the chapters alternate and are told from the perspectives of various characters. It's a quick story with a somewhat predictable ending.

When Buck Platner, Elizabeth Castle's high school
prom date, calls to tell her that her
former best friend, Charla, has
died, she learns that Charla named Elizabeth as the guardian of her teenage daughter, Tiffany.

Unfortunately, Elizabeth's fiance, Dan, does not want kids and breaks
up with her. Elizabeth concocts a series
of plans to win back Dan -- including jury duty, a car accident and an auction. Will Elizabeth overlook the opportunity she has with the person who's been there all along? (KENSINGTON, Feb.,
