NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH
NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH (4) by Kara Lennox: Determined to reopen a murder investigation and get a man freed from death row, Project Justice attorney Raleigh Shinn becomes the target of someone who wants to stop her from doing her job. Steered in Raleigh’s direction by an anonymous source, reporter Griffin Benedict realizes he’s being played and decides to help Raleigh get a convicted man freed. Lennox nicely depicts the sexual tension between Raleigh and Griffin. Raleigh’s own guilt over finding another man attractive after the tragic death of her husband in a car accident several years earlier is quite well-drawn.
