THE NOTORIOUS GABRIEL DIAZ (3) by Cathy Williams: Lucy Robins is about to make a huge sacrifice for her father who has just been caught with his hand in the company till: her innocence for his guilt. Gabriel Diaz isn’t affected by Lucy’s sob story, but he’s got quite the solution to her particular problem: He’ll trade her father’s embezzlement for time in his bed. Williams’ indecent proposal-turned-romance is a good premise, and her characters play their parts well. Thankfully the slight drag in the plot and the lack of chemistry between Gabriel and Lucy correct themselves by the end.
