NULL AND VOID
by Jane Toombs

Genre: Romantic Suspense, Paranormal, E-book
Sensuality: MILD

RT Rating

Toombs weaves a tale of suspense around a story of dark crime and hidden secrets. Her setting is atmospheric, and the characters are realistic. A budding romantic relationship and a touch of the supernatural add to the well-conceived plot.

Twenty years ago, when she was just a child, Ari and her best friend, Mandy, were attacked and Mandy was killed. Ari doesn't remember the attack and goes to live with her aunt and uncle, but she's haunted by dreams and a child's voice in her head. When a woman turns up years later claiming to be Mandy, Mandy's grandmother asks Ari to come back home to Null House and try to identify her. Ari is afraid to dredge up old memories, but the voice she hears tells her to go. Danger is waiting, and an undercover cop may be the only one who can protect her. (REDROSEPUBLISHING.com, dl $2.99)
