In a dark New Orleans adventure, Josie Villefranche's French Quarter hotel is losing all its patrons after a guest is murdered. Someone is trying to frighten her away and get her to sell the property. Drew Morrison, aka the Closer, brokers multimillion-dollar deals for people who want properties owners don't want to sell. But his attraction to Josie is interrupting his plans, and someone else is working for his client -- someone who will use violence to get the hotel. Obsession (4), by Tori Carrington, skillfully uses two viewpoints, mystery, hot sex, voodoo and angst to good effect. Readers should know that this book is darker and grittier than the average Blaze and that the reality of Drew's past activities isn't attractive.
