OCTOBER SONG
by Beverly Lewis

Genre: Inspirational, Contemporary Romance

RT Rating

October Song is like a revisitation of several of Ms. Lewis previous books. If you havent read them, you may find yourself somewhat confused with all the characters.

The first section is a quick visit with Daniel and Katie Fischer from The Shunning. Its almost been a year since Katie and Dan were cast out from the People of her heart. But they are praying that some how they can be restored to their families.

Part two finds Philip Bradley still trying to adjust to life with his bride Rachel. When lightening strikes a neighbors barn, the People work together to raise another one.

Part three picks up from The Redemption of Sara Cain and finds Lydia planning to wed Levi King. She must give up her teaching job, but her heart has been stolen by Levi. Family dynamics are about to change as Lydia and Sara prepare for the joyful event.

As always, Ms. Lewis writes a likeable story with well-rounded and interesting characters. (Oct., 288 pp., $11.99)
