Rowen finishes up her thrilling Living in Eden trilogy with this satisfying end. Her talent for witty dialog and robust characters is on full display. While a new reader to the series could pick this one up with little difficulty, it would be best to start from the beginning.

Being possessed by the demon she loves makes it nearly impossible for Eden to remain the good girl she wants to be. When Darrak’s physical form brings out her inner naughty, Eden is tempted to use her newly acquired black magic. Deciding they need help when hazardous magic starts to manifest without any effort on her part, a solution to the curse separating them comes to light. The answer they seek threatens her life and their future together, but they’ve come too far to give up now. (BERKLEY SENSATION, Dec., 320 pp., $7.99)
