RT Rating

The entire gang from Dane’s Chase novels is here to lend a matchmaking hand and supply moral support to a couple dealing with some sensitive issues in this second-chance-at-love tale. This first book in Dane’s new Petal, Georgia, series is a fast, entertaining read with a classy heroine.

Lily Travis returns to Petal, Georgia, after seven years to claim guardianship of her younger brother because her family is in shambles: Their father has run off with a 20-something, their mother drinks heavily and their sister just complicates matters. Her first concern is his schoolwork. She schedules meetings with his teachers, but unfortunately one happens to be Nathan Murphy, who cheated on her and was the main reason she left town. Nathan would welcome the opportunity for another chance if she would give him more than just a casual affair. (SAMHAINPUBLISHING.COM, dl $4.50)
