ONCE BITTEN, TWICE DEAD
by Bianca D'Arc

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Urban Fantasy

RT Rating

D'Arc introduces a world filled with gory zombies, evil, greedy scientists and the military forces trying to combat them. Within her landscape we meet two strong characters who, in fighting the enemy, find a connection and love with each other. D'Arc deftly blends horror, romance and action for a thrilling, sexy tale.

Officer Sarah Petit answers a call and goes into an abandoned warehouse, only to be attacked by zombies. But instead of dying, she survives and becomes immune to the contagion the zombies spread. She ends up becoming part of a military team sent to combat the monsters and headed by Captain Xavier Beauvoir. In the midst of their mission, Xavier and Sarah become lovers, and the success of the mission takes on new meaning as their feelings for each other grow. (BRAVA, Mar., 320 pp., $14.00)
