If hunky and sweet military men make you swoon this is the book for you! Anne Elizabeth continues her fantastic SEAL series, and the characters are charming. Daniel is a strong leading man who is so considerate to Aria. The dialogue can stray into the cheesy and informational, which can get distracting, and the subplots are unnecessary to the plot — especially the subplot that develops with Aria’s best friend. But this is, all in all, a great read that will have single women everywhere looking for the nearest military base.

Aria Kavanagh has found Mr. Right. He is handsome, thoughtful, strong — and a U.S. Navy SEAL. She knows that she cannot live without Chief Petty Officer Daniel McCullum, but can she live a Navy lifestyle? Being a SEAL wife is not easy, between the missions, separations and learning endless acronyms — not to mention the chain of command, the stuck-up officers’ wives who judge everyone by their husbands’ rank and, worst of all, knowing that your husband is in constant danger. Daniel knows all about love and commitment but not how to make Aria’s transition into a Navy wife an easy one. (SOURCEBOOKS, Nov., 320 pp., $6.99)
