Margaret Daley delivers the touching Once Upon a Family (4.5) as part of the Fostered by Love miniseries. Widow Laura Williams is the busy and often sad mother of four children. When school principal Peter Stone, also a church deacon, mentions he owns a ranch, Laura and children are invited, and a nice familial relationship is born. Peter and Laura share an immediate connection. Cheesy by no means, this terrific family story does a fantastic job of dealing with serious issues facing children.
