Sensuality: HOT
Setting: Regency England

RT Rating

Fresina masterfully unites a staid hero and a madcap heroine who never looks before she leaps. With enough sensuality to make things interesting, a cast of characters including the Book Club Belles and Sir Mortimer Grubbins the pig, Fresina keeps readers turning pages and even adds a surprise twist at the conclusion of this deliciously funny read.

With his older brother missing and presumed dead, shipping company owner Darius Wainwright becomes the beneficiary of his great uncle’s Midwitch Manor. Miss Justina Penny is a calamity waiting to happen. Her wish for something exciting to occur comes true when Darius arrives in her small town, and Justina’s fellow Book Club Belles are in rapture over him. Justina and Darius get off to a bad start, and their banter causes sparks to fly. Justine breaks through his rigid demeanor, and he teaches her the art of kissing. Though Darius has thoughts of marriage, she values her independence. Does she want to be wife or a mistress? (SOURCEBOOKS, Jun., 416 pp., $6.99)
