ONCE UPON A TIME
Most of the stories in this collection
are poorly written, with disorganized, muddled plots, some of which involve sexual degradation and shady, nearly nonconsensual sex. Three stories are decidedly worth the time, however. Santiago's "Little Red Rides the Wolf" deftly combines the original tale with science fiction and shapeshifting elements. Wildes' "The Merman" is a beautifully rendered Regency-era fairy tale. And Lucas' "Tower of Secrets" is
a fun recasting of the Rapunzel story with a modern technological twist.
This anthology collects seven previously downloadable erotic tales based on classic fairy tales. Included are "Nine Inches of Snow and the Ebony Princess," McKeever's Cinderella story with a shapeshifting angle; "Beau and the Lady Beast," by Ashbury, which involves an indecent proposal between a CEO and a shareholder; and modern twists on Tom Thumb, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and more.
