In One Eye Closed (3) by Karen Whiddon, DEA agent and shapeshifter Alex Lope knows THAT his wife is in deadly danger because they share a supernatural link. Lyssa Reinhott–Lupe doesn't want his help, and considers their marriage a sham. A serial killer, the Bone Man, is after her, and Alex believes he's the only one who can save her from a force that the police can never understand. When her best friend is kidnapped by the killer, Lyssa is determined to rescue her. The tension is strong and the ending exciting in this paranormal, but Lyssa seems emotionally out of control for much of the book.
