Lord Edmund Shuttleworth has loved Kate Alston since he first set eyes on her three seasons ago. But after having his suit rejected a number of times, he finally gave up and retreated to the country. Now he's returned to town, older, wiser and determined to win the hand of the woman he loves. But will playing hard-to-get intrigue this proper miss and melt the ice that has grown around her heart? (HARLEQUIN, Jul., $5.99)
