ONE GOOD MAN (3) by Alison Kent: Ten years ago, Jamie Danby had another name. She was the only survivor when the diner she worked in was robbed, and she still has no memory of that terrible night. To escape the publicity, the families and possibly the revenge of the murderer who wants to kill the only witness, her mother moved her across Texas and changed their names. But now the last body has been found and publicity is starting again. Texas Ranger Kell Harding has a plan. He's convinced she will remember things under hypnosis. But what if she isn't strong enough to remember and the nightmare starts all over again? What if the murderer finds her? While this is an interesting premise with attractive characters and excitement, the writing lacks force.
