Faith Constable and her traumatized nephew need a place to hide, and Reed Fairmont has a room. But he's remained a loner since his wife's death and isn't sure he can help anyone. As Faith and her nephew steal a piece of his heart, however, Reed makes a discovery—love, like lightning, really can strike twice. While there's a bit of action in Kathleen O'Brien's THE ONE SAFE PLACE (4), it's really the well-drawn characters that will keep readers turning the pages.
