ONE WISH explores the wonder of love between two very different people, the towns one-time bad boy and the daughter of one of its most important citizens.

Fifteen years ago, Luke Shardlow saved eight-year-old Charity Barnhams life and she vowed to grant him one wish. Now, it seems he may have come back to collect on that promise as Luke returns to Jubilee now a bounty hunter looking for his outlaw half-brother.

There is an instantaneous spark between them, but Charity is engaged to the scion of a wealthy family and Luke carries the stigma of being a murderers son.

When Charitys father suffers a stroke and she takes over the ranch, Luke becomes the friend she turns to for help. Her childhood dreams of true love and fairy tales, must be put aside as she develops the strength to manage the ranch.

Unable to deny their feelings, Charity proposes marriage and despite his own feelings of not being worthy of her, Luke agrees. Somehow they will overcome his familys past, his ruthless brothers plans and her fathers illness to fight for the future.

Linda Lael Miller knows how to reveal the hearts of her characters,
creating memorable people readers care about. A well-drawn backdrop, depth
of characterization, as well as emotional and sensual intensity complete this heartwarming story. Fans of Ms. Millers Springwater Seasons series will not want to miss this new and enjoyable tale. SENSUAL (On-sale Feb., 354 pp., $7.50)
